About Me

-Colin Powell
Preparation
My experiences at the University of Wisconsin, both within the classroom and through community involvement, have provided me with the necessary skills to succeed in the responsibilities of my professional life. I have learned to foster relationships and work effectively in teams. I have been equipped with a well-rounded education and the knowledge necessary for success in the workforce. Involvement on campus has also offered me the opportunity to grow professionally and strengthen traits such as adaptability, responsibility, integrity and leadership.
Hard Work
My work experiences have afforded me the opportunity to understand the hard work that it takes to gain success. Past workforce tasks have impelled me to work in a fast-paced environment, respond to constant change and use tactful and creative problem solving techniques. I have had the opportunity to lead and take responsibility for the outcomes of projects and decisions.
Learning from Failure
I cherish the opportunity to continuously learn through trial and error. I've found that learning through experience is the most effective way for me to continue developing my skill set . I am thankful for the feedback that employers, colleagues, professors, and classmates have provided me. I value their input as a means to better myself both personally and professionally.
